Kamal Haasan desires for ‘Sagara Sangamam’ remake

Kamal Haasan is aged, yet active. With remakes being an inseparable part of his life, the king expresses his wish to dance again to the classical tunes of Telugu movie ‘Sagar Sangamam’ if it is remade. The same film, which was a great hit (starring Jaya Prada against him), was dubbed into Tamil by the title ‘Salangai Oli’. The Telugu version was directed by K. Viswanath.

Kamal, the great dancer has great respect and yearning for this classical dance based genre even at 55. That is why they say, the heart is always young. If any director comes forward to remake the movie, Kamal is prepared to sacrifice his life for the wonderful ‘nritya’ once again.
